Baghdad: On the anniversary of Victory Day, President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid reaffirmed the necessity of unity and consolidating security and stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the President expressed his sentiments, stating, “On the anniversary of Victory Day, we remember with utmost reverence the sacrifices of our people, our heroic armed forces, the tribesmen, and all those who answered the call of the nation and the fatwa of the Supreme Religious Authority.”

The President further emphasized the ongoing importance of unity and security, noting, “We reaffirm the necessity of unity, consolidating security and stability, and thwarting any attempt to tamper with the safety of our citizens.”
