Accra:President Nizar Amidi extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Iraqi people on the occasion of Iraq’s National Day.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amidi used the opportunity to reflect on nearly a century of Iraq’s history, acknowledging the many events and transformations the nation has experienced, including wars, crises, challenges, and hardships faced by the Iraqi people.

The President praised the resilience of Iraqis, highlighting their ability to remain steadfast in their homeland and overcome adversity. He called for learning from the past to strengthen the values that unite the nation, urging a shared national spirit to build a safe and stable Iraq that ensures a dignified life, improved public services, and genuine employment opportunities for its citizens.

Emphasizing collective responsibility, President Amidi stressed the importance of genuine cooperation among state institutions, national forces, and society to prioritize the interests of citizens and future generations. He concluded by honoring the nation’s martyrs and acknowledging their sacrifices, asserting that much work remains to achieve a stronger, more stable, and prosperous Iraq.
