Baghdad: President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Iraq, Christiane Homann, on the occasion of the end of her term. During the meeting, the President praised Ambassador Homann’s efforts in developing cooperative relations between Baghdad and Berlin and her role in strengthening the bonds of mutual friendship, wishing her success in her future endeavors.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Homann expressed her gratitude to the President of the Republic for his support during her tenure, stressing that this contributed to achieving tangible steps towards strengthening the partnership between Iraq and Germany.
