Tehran: Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, arrived in the Iranian capital on Friday morning. He is visiting at the official invitation of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to participate in the funeral and burial ceremonies for the late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Barzani's visit will include meetings with several senior Iranian leaders and officials. His presence marks a significant engagement between the Kurdistan Region and Iran, highlighting the diplomatic relations between the two regions.
