Baghdad: President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received the head of the State of Law parliamentary bloc, Yasser al-Maliki, today at the Baghdad Palace. During their meeting, they underscored the importance of strengthening national consensus among various parties to enhance stability and achieve comprehensive development in the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussion also touched upon the legislative and oversight role of the House of Representatives. They highlighted the need to establish a conducive environment for holding parliamentary elections, ensuring that Iraqis from all walks of life can participate in choosing their representatives with complete transparency and integrity.
