President of the Republic Discusses Peace Efforts with Egyptian Prime Minister to Enhance Regional Security


Seville: President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, engaged in discussions with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on peace efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development in Seville, Spain.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Rashid reiterated Iraq’s commitment to supporting peace initiatives and consolidating regional security and stability. He emphasized Iraq’s opposition to ongoing Zionist violations that threaten to destabilize the region across security, political, and economic dimensions. The President highlighted the urgency of ending hostilities and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people.



The President also underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination in various fields to achieve mutual interests and align visions on critical issues affecting the region’s people. Prime Minister Madbouly expressed his concurrence with President Rashid’s perspectives and confirmed Egypt’s steadfast support for Iraq’s efforts to establish peace and stability both regionally and internationally.
