Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received Ali Turki today, Sunday, at Baghdad Palace, where he presented him with the presidential decree appointing him Governor of Babylon.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, the President emphasized the importance of exerting efforts to serve the people of Babylon Governorate and working to enhance stability and improve the level of services to meet citizens’ aspirations and contribute to supporting the development process. He wished him success in his new duties.

For his part, Ali Turki expressed his thanks and gratitude to the President for the trust placed in him, affirming his determination to perform his duties with utmost dedication and responsibility, and to work as a unified team to serve the governorate and its people.
