President Rashid Calls for Enhanced Health Services in Iraq


Baghdad: The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, emphasized the necessity of improving the services provided by the Ministry of Health to the citizens of Iraq. This call to action was made during a meeting with the Minister of Health, Saleh al-Hasnawi, held at the Baghdad Palace on Monday.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Presidency’s Media Office released a statement detailing the discussions that took place during this meeting. President Rashid and Minister al-Hasnawi reviewed the current health situation in the country and explored ways to enhance it. The President underscored the importance of raising community health awareness and urged for increased efforts by medical personnel. He highlighted the need for collaboration with media outlets and social activists to contribute to awareness and disease prevention efforts.



Minister al-Hasnawi expressed his appreciation for President Rashid’s focus on the health sector’s development. He reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing the expertise of health and medical personnel. The Minister also mentioned plans to foster communication and cooperation with international health organizations to bolster the sector’s capabilities.
