Baghdad: The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, emphasized the necessity of activating joint action among the various national forces to enhance security and political stability. A presidential statement indicated that the President received, on Thursday at Baghdad Palace, a delegation from the Kurdistan Communist Party headed by the party’s Central Committee Secretary, Abu Karwan, and his accompanying delegation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, the President stressed the importance of activating joint action among the various national forces to strengthen security and political stability, praising the role of the Kurdistan Communist Party and its history of struggle.

The statement also addressed the ongoing preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections and the necessity of holding them on schedule while ensuring their integrity and transparency. The President pointed out the need to provide a fair and equal environment for all political forces, enabling citizens to freely express their will and choose their representatives democratically in a manner that reflects their aspirations.

Members of the Kurdistan Communist Party delegation expressed their appreciation for the President’s supportive stance on national dialogue and reform initiatives, affirming their readiness to actively contribute to supporting security and stability and achieving social justice for all citizens.
