Prime Minister Al-Sudani Evaluates NATO Headquarters Visit Outcomes


Brussels: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani reviewed the results of his official visit to NATO headquarters in Brussels during a cabinet session on Tuesday. Al-Sudani emphasized Iraq’s commitment to forming a constructive partnership with NATO and fostering long-term relationships with its member states across different sectors. The visit also included an assessment of the NATO mission in Iraq, highlighting the country’s efforts to strengthen collaboration with North Atlantic Council countries to address various security challenges.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s discussions at NATO headquarters were centered on advancing Iraq’s strategic interests and enhancing its security framework. The comprehensive talks aimed at bolstering Iraq’s role in regional security and expanding cooperation with NATO partners.
