New York:Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi engaged in discussions concerning regional and international developments with Stuart Jones, President of the Middle East Institute for Research and Studies. The meeting occurred at Al-Zaidi’s residence in New York while attending the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on Iraq’s economic and financial reform trajectory, government efforts to enhance the investment climate, and strategies to support the national economy and diversify revenue sources.

Stuart Jones praised the Iraqi government for its successful implementation of anti-corruption policies and efforts in addressing financial issues and advancing economic reforms. He remarked that these initiatives are crucial in fostering a more effective economy and stimulating Iraq’s investment climate, thus enhancing opportunities for development, economic partnerships, and investment with major companies.
