Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi has issued directives to ensure full care and support for the families of two martyrs from the Al-Dora area. The Prime Minister made this announcement following his meeting with the families of Brigadier General Hisham Mohammed Talaa al-Salman and Commissioner Khalid Abbas Lafteh al-Fawali, who lost their lives in the line of duty during an operation in the Dora district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s media office released a statement detailing the commitment to the families of the fallen officers. Al-Zaidi praised the martyrs as beacons of the nation and emphasized that their families and children hold a special place in the hearts of the nation. He assured that justice will prevail and the perpetrators responsible for the deaths will face strict legal consequences.

Prime Minister al-Zaidi further directed that both officers be posthumously promoted and that all necessary measures be taken to attend to the needs of their families. This gesture is intended to honor their sacrifices and dedication to the duty of safeguarding citizens’ security.
