Mosul:Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi has extended an official invitation to international companies specializing in airport management and operations to invest in Mosul International Airport and enhance its services.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office announced that al-Zaidi visited Mosul to initiate work on a one-million-housing-plot project and to oversee various service and development initiatives, including Mosul International Airport.
During his visit, al-Zaidi emphasized Mosul’s importance as a cultural and economic gateway for Iraq. He underlined the government’s commitment to completing significant projects in the region to fulfill the service and economic demands of its residents.
The Prime Minister remarked that Mosul Airport is more than just a service project; it serves as a crucial portal for the governorate and Iraq, especially after Nineveh’s reinstatement on the aviation and investment maps. He highlighted the government’s objective of seeking partners who can transform Mosul Airport into a major service hub, rather than simply constructing a passenger terminal.
