Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi received the Chief Executive Officer of Excelerate Energy in Washington.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister's Media Office released a statement indicating that Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met with the CEO of Excelerate Energy in Washington, D.C. During the meeting, both parties agreed to initiate the implementation of the floating gas terminal project in Khor Al-Zubair.

The agreement marks a significant step towards enhancing energy infrastructure, as the floating gas terminal is expected to contribute to the region's energy sector. The collaboration between Iraq and the U.S.-based company underscores a commitment to developing sustainable energy solutions in Khor Al-Zubair.
