Baghdad: The Prime Minister’s Office announced the launch of the third phase of the “Baghdad Pulse” initiative to rehabilitate Rashid Street.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the initiative is a joint effort by the Prime Minister’s Office in collaboration with the Iraqi Private Banks Association, the Baghdad Municipality, and the Ministry of Culture. This phase focuses on reviving Rashid Street’s architectural heritage and enhancing its economic and cultural significance.
The statement from the Prime Minister’s Office highlighted that the initiative aims to restore the unique architectural character of Rashid Street, improve its infrastructure, and re-establish its role as a vibrant economic and cultural hub. It stressed the importance of providing the necessary resources to achieve the initiative’s goals, given its positive impact on the national economy and the tourism and heritage sectors.
