Doha: Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey urged the Palestinian Hamas movement to respond positively to US President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip, according to the American website Axios.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, citing two informed sources, Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey are encouraging Hamas to engage with President Trump’s proposal aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict in Gaza. The website indicated that US officials have shown openness to addressing “specific requests for clarification or modification” from Hamas concerning the plan. However, they emphasized that the plan would not be open to full renegotiation.
