Qatari Minister of Culture Arrives in Baghdad for Cultural Week Preparations


Baghdad: Qatari Minister of Culture, Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, arrived in the capital, Baghdad, at the head of a high-level cultural delegation, on Monday. He was received by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Fadel Mohammed Al-Badrani, and the Director General of the Department of Public Cultural Relations, Alaa Abu Al-Hassan Al-Alaq.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the two sides discussed the ongoing preparations for the launch of the Qatari Cultural Week in Baghdad. During the meeting, they emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and cultural exchange between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Iraq. This includes holding joint Iraqi-Qatari cultural events and affirming the shared will to make culture the best bridge for rapprochement between the two peoples.
