Baghdad: A Qatari delegation headed by the Minister of Culture has arrived in Baghdad to participate in the Baghdad International Book Fair. The Qatari Minister of Culture, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, landed in Baghdad yesterday evening, Tuesday, accompanied by a cultural delegation comprising several officials and intellectuals. Their visit marks Qatar’s role as the guest of honor at the Baghdad International Book Fair 2025.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the fair’s activities are set to commence this morning, Wednesday (September 10). The event will feature the participation of Arab and international publishing houses, alongside a variety of intellectual and cultural activities that the Qatari delegation will be actively involved in.

The Iraqi Ministry of Culture has confirmed that Qatar’s presence as the guest of honor underscores the commitment of both nations to enhancing cultural cooperation.
