Baghdad:The Meteorological Authority has forecasted that rain showers will persist until Friday, urging drivers to exercise caution during periods of intense rainfall.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the authority announced that the likelihood of rain will continue through Thursday evening, November 5, and into Friday, November 6. The showers are expected to be generally light to moderate but may intensify and include thunderstorms in certain areas.

The forecast indicates that the heaviest rainfall is anticipated in several northern areas, parts of the central region, and sections of the eastern part of the southern region. The weather forecasting department has advised drivers to be cautious and to avoid crossing roads that may be flooded due to the intensified rainfall.
