Baghdad: Dozens of residents of the Al-Sudair district, located south of Diwaniyah province, took to the streets to demonstrate against inadequate electricity services. The protestors blocked the main road that links Diwaniyah to the southern provinces, voicing their dissatisfaction with the current power supply situation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the demonstrators are urging both the Ministry of Electricity and the local government to take immediate action to enhance the electricity supply and to allocate a larger share of power to the province. Their protest underscores the ongoing issues faced by residents in accessing reliable electricity services.
