Russia accuses Ukraine of storing weapons near nuclear stations

Baghdad, Russia accused Ukraine of storing weapons near nuclear stations.

The Director of Russian Foreign Intelligence, Sergey Naryshkin, said: “Russian intelligence is receiving reports that the Ukrainian armed forces are storing weapons and ammunition provided by the West in the territory of nuclear power plants, most of which include the most expensive and rarest missiles of the Ukrainian forces of the “HIMARS” model and foreign air defense systems, as well as ammunition with special weapons, heavy caliber, especially at the Rovinskaya nuclear power plant.

He added: The intention of the Kiev regime is clear, with the leadership of the Ukrainian armed forces hiding the ammunition inside the nuclear reactors, counting on not being targeted by the Russian armed forces, which realize and avoid the risk of a nuclear catastrophe.

He continued: If the warehouses were detonated and a nuclear power plant was destroyed due to another missile being dropped by mistake by the Ukrainian air defense, the blame for the tragedy would be attributed to Moscow, and Kiev is fully convinced of this matter, due to the encouragement of the West.

He explained: The Kiev regime is now holding hostages not only from civilians, but tens or even hundreds of thousands of the population of their own country and neighboring countries.

He expressed the hope that no one in Kiev would deliberately detonate these warehouses in the hope of begging the United States and its allies to obtain more weapons and ammunition, and that Kiev would not blow up ammunition depots at nuclear power plants with the aim of “begging” the West to obtain more weapons and ammunition.
