Moscow: The Russian Presidency announced today that a new round of negotiations on resolving the Ukrainian crisis will be held soon, following the last round of talks.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Dmitry Peskov, the official Spokesman for the Russian Presidency (the Kremlin), stated, “There is no specific date yet for the next round,” but he confirmed that it will be held soon, noting that the work within the framework of the settlement negotiations was both constructive and difficult.
Regarding the possibility of holding a new round of negotiations in the United States, Peskov clarified that “no discussion has taken place on this subject,” avoiding any mention of its content.
The United States is seeking to mediate an end to the war that has been ongoing for nearly four years. The second round of negotiations, held on Wednesday and Thursday, concluded without any announced progress on the main issues, except for the exchange of dozens of captured soldiers.
