Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Monday, that its forces have taken control of a new town in northeastern Ukraine, killing 865 Ukrainian soldiers and downing 356 drones. The Ministry stated in a press release that its forces have made significant progress on all fronts in the area of the special military operation, noting that its “Northern” forces have captured the town of Hraboveske in the Sumy region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry added that tactical and attack aircraft, missile forces, and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces damaged facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, military airfield infrastructure, long-range drone production and assembly facilities, a drone operator training center, and temporary deployment sites of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 148 locations.

In recent weeks, Russia has announced advances by its forces on several battlefronts and their control of numerous new areas in eastern Ukraine, coinciding with ongoing US-led peace talks aimed at achieving a ceasefire between Kyiv and Moscow.
