Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russian air defense systems destroyed 90 Ukrainian drones and an anti-ship missile “Neptune” over Russian territory last night. It explained in a statement: “Last night, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using drones against targets on Russian territory were stopped.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the air defense systems on duty shot down 90 Ukrainian drones, including 38 drones over the waters of the Sea of Zhov, 24 over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, and 15 over the territory of the Republic of Crimea.

The statement continued: “Seven drones were destroyed over the waters of the Black Sea, two drones over the territory of the Kursk Region, two drones over the territory of the Rostov Region, one drone over the territory of the Bryansk Region, and one drone over the territory of the Belgorod Region.”

According to the statement, the Russian air defense systems destroyed a guided missile of the “Neptune-MD” type over the waters of the Sea of Zhov.
