Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense reported today, Saturday, that its air defense systems destroyed 36 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the air defense systems on duty successfully engaged and destroyed 36 Ukrainian drones, with a significant number of incidents occurring over the Kursk and Rostov regions. Specifically, 18 drones were intercepted over the Kursk region and another 13 over the Rostov region.
The statement from the Ministry further detailed that additional drones were neutralized in various other regions. Two drones were destroyed over the Belgorod region, another two over the Oryol region, and one was shot down over the Krasnodar region.
This incident marks a continued trend of drone engagements between the two nations, with Russian air defenses actively responding to aerial incursions.
