Baghdad: The Russian Defense Ministry reported today, Wednesday, that Russian air defense systems destroyed several Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry stated: “Last night, attempts by Kyiv forces to carry out attacks using drones against targets on Russian territory were stopped.”

The statement further detailed that the air defense systems on duty destroyed 4 Ukrainian drones. Specifically, two drones were shot down over the territory of Kursk Oblast and another two over Belgorod Oblast.
