Kirkuk: Security forces arrested a blackmailer after the victim called the unified emergency line 911 in Kirkuk.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Ministry of Interior revealed that a girl contacted the unified emergency line 911 to report that she was being blackmailed and threatened. In response, the Central Response and Control Directorate dispatched the nearest rescue patrol to her location. The patrol collected information from the victim, enabling them to monitor and arrest the blackmailer swiftly.

The alleged perpetrator was detained at Al-Quriyah Police Station in Kirkuk Governorate. A formal complaint has been filed against the accused, who has been referred to the judiciary for further proceedings.
