Federal Police Arrest Six in Connection with Quarrel and Shooting in Baghdad


Baghdad: The Federal Police Command forces arrested six individuals involved in a quarrel and shooting incident east of Baghdad.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Federal Police Command stated that the operation was a result of the security efforts and close monitoring by the Federal Police units within the 19th Brigade, 5th Division, in the Bunoks area of Baghdad. The forces successfully surrounded the scene of the incident and detained the individuals accused of participating in the dispute, which escalated to gunfire. During the arrest, a Kalashnikov rifle was seized from one of the suspects. The arrested individuals and the seized items were handed over to the competent authorities for further legal action.
