Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday that Russian armed forces targeted ports, logistics centers, and weapons depots belonging to Ukrainian forces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated in a press release that Russian armed forces continued to conduct mass airstrikes on Ukrainian logistics centers and ports used by the Ukrainian armed forces throughout the night of August 29. The statement emphasized the use of drones and airborne precision weapons in these actions.

The press release detailed specific targets, including attacks on a logistics center in the town of Kalynivka, which contains a customs center for distributing military shipments arriving from Western countries. Furthermore, an ammunition depot in the town of Mylaia, storing components and boosters for FB-1 and FB-2 long-range drones, was reportedly struck by attack drones and precision-guided munitions.

Additional strikes were reported in and around Kyiv, where the FIM Service transport and logistics center in the town of Chaiki was targeted. This center’s warehouses were used to store components for Flamingo long-range cruise missiles. The release also highlighted attacks on a fuel truck parking area and fuel unloading areas in the port of Izmail, intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In the port of Mykolaiv, significant damage was inflicted on a marine cargo terminal, logistics centers used for unloading and storing military shipments, 18 military equipment warehouses, and 3 fuel and lubricant depots, all designated for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
