Baghdad: The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced the targeting of three cargo ships in the Black Sea and the destruction of Ukrainian drones. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry revealed that three dry cargo ships, which were reportedly carrying military supplies to Ukraine, were struck in the Black Sea through drone attacks.
Furthermore, the ministry detailed that a total of 131 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and brought down over various regions including Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Smolensk, Tula, the Republic of Crimea, Krasnodar Krai, and the Black Sea.
This development comes amid an increase in Russia's operations targeting Ukrainian naval facilities, especially in the southern region. Simultaneously, Ukraine has been utilizing drone attacks, occasionally successfully damaging Russian oil facilities.
