Russian Military Claims to Have Intercepted 397 Ukrainian Drones Overnight

Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that its air defense systems intercepted 397 Ukrainian drones over various Russian regions overnight.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that "during the night, air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 397 Ukrainian drones over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Tambov, and Tula regions, the Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea, and the waters of the Sea of Azov."

The ministry also announced today that its armed forces carried out a mass strike with high-precision missiles overnight, targeting a military-industrial facility and a fuel depot in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry issued a statement on its "weekly operations," noting that 34 ships used by the Ukrainian army were damaged and 8 towns were captured.
