Accra:The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that more than 1,000 Ukrainian drones were intercepted over various regions in Russia overnight.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated that its air defense systems successfully shot down 1,015 Ukrainian drones. The regions affected include Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver, Tula, Moscow, and Krasnodar. Additionally, the interception took place over the Crimean Peninsula and the waters of the Black Sea.
