Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense forces shot down 598 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions since last night. The ministry stated in a press release on Saturday that “during last night, on-duty air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 598 fixed-wing Ukrainian drones over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver, Tula, Moscow Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Crimea, and over the waters of the Sea of ??Azov and the Black Sea.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Friday that its air defense systems intercepted 64 guided bombs, 16 US-made HIMARS and Czech-made Vampire missiles, eight Flamingo cruise missiles, five long-range Neptune guided missiles, and 7,078 drones. The Black Sea Fleet also destroyed eight Ukrainian Navy drone boats last week.
