Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported the killing and wounding of 290 Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region over the past 24 hours. The Ministry’s statement emphasized that its forces targeted Ukrainian positions in several locations within the Sumy region, which borders Kursk.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry detailed that the strikes occurred in the cities and towns of Viktorovka, Zazulivka, Kazachya Luknya, Kubatkin, Luknya, Martynovka, Makhnovka, and Obody. Ukrainian losses reportedly included 290 soldiers, along with 8 armored vehicles, 8 cannons, 15 vehicles, 3 drone control points, and an ammunition depot.
The Ministry further stated that since the commencement of the attack on Kursk on August 6, the Ukrainian military has suffered significant losses, including 60,500 soldiers, 363 tanks, hundreds of armored vehicles, cannons, rocket launchers, air defense systems, 108 electronic warfare stations, and dozens of radar stations.
