Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced the interception and destruction of 40 Ukrainian drones in a number of regions of the country last night, including 18 drones in Saratov province, where an industrial facility was damaged as a result of falling debris.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry stated on Tuesday morning that 13 drones were destroyed in Rostov and 6 in Pryanik, in addition to two in Volgograd and one in Belgorod. The Saratov authorities reported damage to an industrial facility in the city of Saratov, without recording any injuries, while media outlets reported an attempt to target the city’s oil refinery.

In Pryanik, authorities confirmed that there were no injuries as a result of air defenses repelling an attack by Ukrainian drones. Additionally, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency stated that the airports of Kazan, Kirov, Saratov, and Ulyanovsk temporarily suspended receiving and sending flights.
