Russian MoD: Two Towns in Donetsk Controlled and More Than 1,000 Ukrainian Soldiers Killed


Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces have taken control of the towns of Skudny and Burlatskoye in the Donetsk Republic, noting that 1,015 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in the past 24 hours.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry’s daily statement on the latest developments in military operations in Ukraine stated that the northern forces have strengthened their positions in the Kharkiv region in northeastern Ukraine, while the western Russian forces have supported their positions in Donetsk and Kharkiv. The eastern forces have also been able to impose their control over the two towns in Donetsk.



The statement added that the Russian forces were able to shoot down 190 drones and 6 air bombs, in addition to destroying 3 tanks, 29 vehicles, 11 armored vehicles, 10 cannons, 4 electronic warfare stations, and 6 ammunition depots.
