Baghdad: Lieutenant General Saad Maan, head of the Security Media Cell, announced that 4,007,257 pilgrims have entered Iraq since the beginning of Muharram until last night to commemorate the Arba'een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this significant influx of pilgrims underscores the importance of the Arba'een pilgrimage, which is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world. The pilgrimage marks the end of the 40-day mourning period following Ashura, which commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, a pivotal figure in Islamic history.
