Baghdad: The spokesperson for the commander-in-chief of the Nina coalition declared that the Saudi-American aggression has impeded investigation efforts. The coalition is proceeding with its mission's conclusion by the end of September 2026.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the official spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah al-Nu'man, confirmed that a recent military attack by Saudi and American air forces directly obstructed the Iraqi government's efforts to investigate and address concerns regarding the targeting of Saudi territory. Al-Nu'man emphasized the lack of concrete evidence related to these accusations, which have not been substantiated by any party so far. The attack undermines de-escalation efforts and the official investigation process.

Al-Nu'man stated that the security forces are solely responsible for managing security, and the government remains committed to preventing individual actions while safeguarding the country's sovereignty against any external violations. He also indicated that the Commander-in-Chief personally inspected the Popular Mobilization Forces headquarters to assess damage and sacrifices. Instructions were given to care for the wounded inside and outside Iraq, and honor the martyrs. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has begun documenting the violation on an international level.

Al-Nu'man concluded by reinforcing the state's determination to implement its strategic decision to withdraw the international coalition by the end of September 2026, confirming its commitment to maintaining the state's monopoly on the use of force without retreat.
