Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan said: “We will support economic recovery projects in Syria.”
In a press conference at the conclusion of the Jeddah Arab Summit, Bin Farhan said: “The extremist positions are not in the interest of the Syrian people, and we are working to return the Syrian refugees to their homeland.”
He added, “The dialogue with Damascus stems from a new approach to ending the Syrian crisis, which can no longer continue.”
He continued, “We will talk with our Western partners regarding relations with Syria.”
On the other hand, the Saudi Foreign Minister announced that the Sudanese talks are continuing in Jeddah, stressing that it is too early to talk about a breakthrough.
He called on the Sudanese parties to show responsibility and resort to dialogue.
