Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization has announced the weather forecast for the upcoming days, anticipating a mix of clear to partly cloudy skies along with scattered showers and fluctuating temperatures.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the organization detailed in a statement that on Thursday, the weather will vary from partly cloudy to cloudy, with rain expected in the southern regions. Winds are forecasted to be light to moderate coming from the northwest. Temperatures are expected to be slightly higher than today in the central and northern regions while decreasing in the south. Currently, Baghdad experiences a minimum temperature of 5 degrees Celsius, with a maximum of 22 degrees Celsius expected.
The statement further predicts that Friday's weather will be cloudy accompanied by scattered showers throughout the country. Winds will maintain a light to moderate pace from the northwest. Southern regions will see a slight increase in temperatures, while the central regions will experience a more significant rise, and the north will have a decrease in temperature.
Additionally, Saturday is expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather with scattered showers targeted at the central and northern regions. Temperatures on this day are anticipated to be slightly higher across the country, with winds shifting to a light to moderate flow from the southeast.
