Baghdad: The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant-General Shawan Mazhar Ali Rawanduzi, held discussions with the Serbian Ambassador, Branislav Jejel, focusing on joint efforts to enhance the capabilities of the Iraqi army.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Defense released a statement emphasizing the commitment to strengthen joint cooperation between Iraq and Serbia. In a meeting held at the ministry headquarters, Lieutenant-General Rawanduzi and Ambassador Jejel, along with his delegation, explored various issues of mutual interest aimed at broadening bilateral cooperation and coordination.
The discussion highlighted the significance of joint work to develop the Iraqi army’s capabilities, leveraging Serbian expertise in logistical areas such as armament, equipment, and training.
