Baghdad: The Security Media Cell has announced that more than 1.5 million visitors have entered Iraq since the first of Muharram. This significant influx of visitors highlights the country’s importance as a destination for religious observance and cultural engagement during this period.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Security Media Cell released a statement revealing that the precise number of visitors had reached 1,500,977 as of last night. These visitors have traveled from various countries around the world, underscoring Iraq’s role as a key hub for international pilgrims and religious tourists during Muharram.
