Nineveh: A large security operation was launched by the Popular Mobilization Forces and the army in the Al-Qarraj district of Nineveh Governorate. A joint force from the 58th Brigade’s Commando Regiment, supported by Iraqi army units, conducted a detailed security operation in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation included a search of the village of Hama Stir. The operation aimed to secure the area, ensure it was free of remnants of the terrorist organization ISIS, and prevent the return of sleeper cells to activity.

This operation is part of a series of ongoing measures to enhance security and stability in the liberated areas and ensure the sustainability of the security enjoyed by the Nineveh regions after years of liberation and sacrifice.
