Maysan: A joint security force from Qal’at Saleh district police conducted targeted field operations that resulted in the arrest of nine suspects in various areas of the district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Maysan Police Command stated in a statement that one of those arrested was wanted for murder, while the charges against the remaining suspects varied between assault, threats, and other offenses under different legal articles.

The statement added that the operations were carried out following a meticulous pursuit of the wanted individuals, based on reliable intelligence information, and included court-ordered raids and searches.

The security authorities confirmed that the necessary legal measures were taken against the suspects, and that they were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the investigations in accordance with the established legal frameworks.
