Baghdad: The Seismic Monitoring Department of the General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring has released its monthly report detailing seismic activities for October 2025. The report highlights the frequency of earthquakes recorded in Iraq and its neighboring regions over the past month.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the monitoring recorded a total of 30 earthquakes within Iraq’s borders. Additionally, 50 earthquakes were recorded outside the country’s borders during the same period. The report aims to provide a comprehensive overview of seismic activities to help in understanding regional seismic patterns and preparing for future events.
