Chamchamal: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology reported a 3.1-magnitude earthquake northeast of Chamchamal in Sulaymaniyah province within Iraqi territory.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the seismic monitoring stations logged the earthquake approximately 44 km northeast of Chamchamal in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The quake, which measured 3.1 on the Richter scale, was felt in areas close to its epicenter.
