Senior Undersecretary of Interior Ministry Emphasizes Leadership Development for Police Directors


Baghdad: The Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Hussein Al-Awadi, highlighted the crucial importance of enhancing leadership capabilities among police station directors to boost the efficiency of security operations and elevate the standards of police work.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Dr. Al-Awadi addressed the significance of this initiative during his participation in the leadership development program specifically designed for police station directors. This program is organized by the Higher Institute for Leadership Development and Training at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. It operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior and is executed in collaboration with the European Union Advisory Mission in Iraq.



Dr. Al-Awadi underscored the importance of leveraging training programs and contemporary methodologies to develop the skills of security leaders. The enhancement of these capabilities is expected to improve the quality of services provided to citizens and promote ethical and humane interactions, thereby contributing to the strengthening of security and stability in the region.
