Baghdad: Ali Sahib, the official overseeing service and engineering efforts in Diwaniyah, announced the commencement of rehabilitation work in the Khairi and Zira’i areas of the University District and the Cultural District in the center of Diwaniyah city.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sahib stated that the project entails a comprehensive overhaul of the infrastructure. The rehabilitation efforts will focus on upgrading vital services, including water supply, sewage systems, communications networks, and electricity. Additionally, the project includes paving roads to improve transportation and accessibility within these districts.

The initiative aims to enhance the quality of life for residents and support the development of the region. The effort is part of a broader plan to modernize and improve the infrastructure in Diwaniyah city, ensuring that essential services meet the growing demands of its population.
