Hilla: Seven people were injured in a traffic accident south of Hillah, the capital of Babylon Governorate, while traveling to Najaf to participate in the funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Brigadier General Zaher Mohammed, Director of Media for Babylon Traffic, stated, “Seven people, residents of Baghdad, were injured when the car they were traveling in overturned on the road between Babylon and Najaf, in the Al-Kifl district.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the injured were transferred to Hillah Surgical Hospital for treatment. The accident occurred on the road that connects the cities of Babylon and Najaf, a route frequently used by travelers attending significant events in the region. The condition of the injured individuals has not been disclosed. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident to prevent future occurrences.
