Sheikh al-Khazali Affirms Presence of Foreign Forces Affects Iraq’s Security Stability


Baghdad: Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, Secretary-General of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, affirmed that the presence of any foreign forces negatively impacts security stability in Iraq. In his statement, Sheikh al-Khazali pointed to the liberation of Wadi Hawran, which was previously known as the largest and most dangerous safe haven, as a significant achievement coinciding with the US withdrawal. He emphasized this as evidence of the capability of Iraq’s security forces to fulfill their duties in preserving the nation’s security and its people.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sheikh al-Khazali expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Iraqi armed forces involved in the successful liberation of Wadi Hawran. He acknowledged the contributions of all branches, including the army, police, and popular mobilization, and expressed optimism for further achievements in the future.
